Clive Atwell returned to the local ring with a bang last Friday evening with a decisive second round knockout over Rudolph Fraser to take the local featherweight title.
In Sunday’s report we inadvertently stated in the lead portion of our report that the two fighters had battled for the bantamweight title.
Further, in the bout between David Thomas and debutant Gladwin Doray, it was reported that the former pugilist defeated the latter when in fact it was Gladwin Doray that registered a second round knockout over David Thomas who was fighting as a professional for the second time. Kaieteur Sport regrets these errors and any embarrassment they may have caused.
