Two remanded for gun possession
The two hunters, who were caught by police in possession of two unlicenced 12-gauge shotguns in their boat at Orealla stelling on June 20, have been granted bail in the sums of $199,000, each.
Dwayne Mc Intosh, 27, and Sylester Alphin, 20, of the Corentyne River appeared before Magistrate Krishendat Persaud at the Springlands Magistrate’s Court yesterday.
They are represented by Councillor Mursalene Bacchus and will return to court on July 14, 2012.
