Courtney Benn Contracting Services not building forensic laboratory

Dear Editor,
I refer to your article in Kaieteur News dated March 25, 2012 in which you dealt with the matter of the Forensic Laboratory. I wish to state as follows:-
1)    Our company has been contracted to construct a building not a lab. We are quite capable of properly executing this contract since we have done similar work on many occasions before. As for the lab itself, others will be doing that work not Courtney Benn Contracting Services Limited.
2)    The contracted completion date for the building is May 2012 subject to any valid extensions for legitimate reasons as set out in the said contract. We are confident of completing this work in the contract period.
3)    It would have been useful if your reporter had contacted us before publishing the story. If he had done so he would have been better informed.
