Fitzgerald / Smartt Wins 501 Draw Doubles Darts Tournament

The pair of Melissa Smartt / Sudesh Fitzgerald won the Guyana Darts Association organized Tournament which was played on Friday evening at the CCWU Sports club on Quamina Street.
The pair relegated into second place the combination of Norman Madhoo / Delon Correia, who closed off their earlier games by hitting the check out double with the first or second dart.
In the final, however, with a lead of over 150 points they could not hit the double with nine darts allowing Fitzgerald and his partner to knock theirs and win the first game.
The final game saw both pairs failing to score 100 points with 3 darts; wrong check-out calculations, before Fitzgerald finished the tournament with double one.
The pairs eliminated in the semi-finals were Vibert Yearwood /Anil Lachman by Fitzgerald / Smartt 2/1 and Miguel Ramirez / Sudesh Kumar by Madhoo / Correia 2/0.
