Referees beginners course starts tomorrow

The Guyana Football Referees Council (GFRC) in conjunction with the Guyana Football Federation (GFF) will be conducting a Referees Beginners Course tomorrow until Sunday at the Guyana Olympic House Board Room, High Street, Kingston, Georgetown from 17:00hrs.
Topics which will be discussed during the course are Fouls & Misconduct, Offside, Function and Duties of the Referee and Assistant Referees, Players Equipment, Number of Players, Penalty Kicks, Free Kicks, Role of the 4th Official, Kicks from the Penalty Mark, Team Work, Guidelines for Referees, Serious Foul Play and Violent Conduct.
On Saturday the session will commence at 09:00 hrs and concludes at 16:00 hrs and on Sunday the session commences at 09:30 hrs and concludes at 13:00 hrs.
The resources personnel are Collin Aaron, Roy Mc Arthur and Lawrence Griffith.
Persons interested in becoming Referees should make contact with either of the above persons or the GFF on 227-8758 or attend the course at the Guyana Olympic Association Office on Friday.
