John Fernandes Insurance Services 2nd Division Hockey Competition
All Greys, a team more known for being stacked with players who’re either grey or bald rolled back the years when they defeated a blend of youth and experience that characterised the recently formed Saints Hockey Club by a 3-1 margin when play in this year’s John Fernandes Insurance Services Second Division Competition continued on Saturday, at the St. Stanislaus ground on Carifesta Avenue.

They were led to victory by goals off the sticks of former nationals Ivor Thompson, who netted in the 21st minute of play, Azad DeAbreu (30th) and Alan Fernandes (44th).
Kwesi Lewis (43rd) belted in the lone response for the losers.
In the feature clash, Hikers led by a double from Aroydy Bransford (26th, 43rd) and a single strike from (Andrew Stewart (69th) easily disposed of Old Fort by a 3-1 margin.
Old Fort’s lone goal was scored by John Abrahams in the 57th minute of play.
The competition was scheduled to resume yesterday with another double header.
