ECB throws weight behind cricket IMC
After a meeting with the Honourable Minister of Culture, Youth and Sport Frank Anthony and Chairman of the IMC, Clive Lloyd, the Essequibo Cricket Board (ECB) has informed that it would like to inform the public that it has endorsed the IMC as the sole authority for cricket in Guyana.
The ECB representatives on the IMC are Otto Christiani and Anthony Murray, Elroy Stephney who will serve on the Cricket Development Committee and Marvin Pearson, a member of the Finance Commitee.
The ECB wishes to inform that the decision to be part of the IMC was based on a consensus of the entire Board which would also like to inform that its President Skeik Ahmad is no longer a Director of the company – DEB Essentials – as Ahmad has resigned that posititon on March 3, 2012.
The ECB wishes to make it clear that only the Secretary Otto Christiani is authorised to sign documents on its behalf.
