A call for resignation
Dear Sir,
APNU leaders Granger, Roopnaraine, Harmon and Bond should resign from public life with immediate effect and apologize first to all at GECOM, especially Dr. Surujbally and Mr. Gocool Boodoo whose persons and families they so unmercifully maligned and harassed after the recent elections, and secondly to the Guyanese public.
Despite their unreasonable criticism of GECOM’s time (a mere two and a half days) to check, tabulate and pronounce on a complete election, they themselves, after agitating and receiving the SOP’s several weeks ago cannot as yet say one coherent word on the matter. Their accusations of impropriety on the part of Dr. Surujbally and Mr. Boodoo are revealed as nothing more than blatant self serving lies.
This despicable display of discrimination, manipulation and total disregard for all Guyanese including their own supporters who would have placed their trust in them and who they regard as nothing but cannon fodder, will not, in the final analysis, go unpunished; but atonement by resignation may help to soften their inevitable demise.
