Fitzgerald, Madhoo share spoils
Sudesh Fitzgerald and Rosetta Hiralall edged the pair of Norman Madhoo and Christopher Amyan 2/1 in the Draw Doubles of the Guyana Darts Association-organised Tournament which was played on Wednesday night, at Seepauls Bar, Alexander Street Kitty.
En route to the final, Fitzgerald / Hiralall beat the pair of Colin France / Rayman Williams, while Madhoo / Amyan got the better of Vibert Yearwood / Nicholas Seetaram.
The 501 Singles saw Madhoo getting the better of Fitzgerald by a 2/1 margin.
In the semi-finals, Fitzgerald won 2/0 from Christopher Amyan and Norman Nadhoo 2/1 from Rayman Williams.
The maximum of 180 points was thrown twice by Madhoo and once by Rayman Williams.
The highest check out prize went to Madhoo with a one dart 50 points.
The next tournament will be held at the Malteenoes Sports Club, Thomas Lands tonight from 20:00 hrs.
