Philips supply PPYC with batons
Pamela Philips, Assistant Secretary/ Treasurer of the Athletics Association of Guyana (AAG) , made a donation of batons to the Presidents/Jefford Classic and National U-23 Champions Police Progressive Youth Club (PPYC) at Eve Leary ground Friday evening shortly after the commencement of a meeting.
The batons were presented to the second Vice President (VP) and Chairman of the Fund Raising Committee, Carol Gilkes in the presence of the first VP and Coach, Lyndon Wilson of the PPYC and other executive members.
Gilkes, who was enthusiastic about the presentation, stated that the batons will be of good use to the athletes of the club.
