Giftland Office Max supports Powerlifters for Caribbean C/ships
Continuing their efforts in support of the development and exposure of Guyana’s

sportsmen and women, corporate entity Giftland Office Max have recently powered up two of the Powerlifters that will be representing Guyana at the 6th IPF/NAPF Caribbean Powerlifting Championships set for the United States Virgin Islands, March 28th – April 1, 2012.
Headlining Guyana’s team at next month’s championships will be Randolph ‘The Accomplisher’ Morgan and leading strongwoman Dawn ‘The Cool Destroyer’ Barker.
Giftland, in support of ensuring that Guyana has full representation in its quest to recapture the team championship, has decided to lend personal support to Karel Mars and Germaine Snagg.
Marketing manager of Giftland Office Max, Compton Babb in brief remarks at the handing over of the cheque said it was again an honour to contribute towards to continued success and development of the Powerlifting team and sports in Guyana.
“The Powerlifters have the potential to become even greater, they have been doing very well for our country over the past years. As usual, Giftland stands as a support organisation to prepare our diligent athletes to reach higher heights, without the fear of financial support, participation, accommodation and meals. If these basic needs are not met the focus to compete is depleted.
“We in Guyana need to understand the high standards of these tournaments and act in like manner as it is one of the sports that has been doing very well for our nation at the Caribbean, Regional, Commonwealth and International level. Giftland repeats the praises of the Powerlifters for their remarkable performances over the years.”
