$$M bids to upgrade infrastructure in coastal areas
Nine (9) bids were submitted yesterday to the National Procurement and Tender Administration Board (NPTAB), under the Central Housing and Planning Authority (CH&PA), for the construction of roads, drain structures and installation of pure water distribution network at Plantation Uitvlugt, West Coast Demerara, Region Three.
Engineers’ estimates catered for four sections: Lot (1) $118,971,887; Lot (2) $95,772,335; Lot (3) $88,489,037 and Lot (4) $71,893,690. The bids are as follows:

In addition, under the CH&PA, ten (10) bids were submitted for the construction of roads, drain structures and installation of pure water distribution network in Success, East Coast Demerara, Region Four. With an engineer’s estimate of $28,096,629, the bids submitted were:

Meanwhile, under the Modernisation of Justice Administration System (MJAS), bids were submitted for the rehabilitation of the High Court Registries in Georgetown and New Amsterdam. The engineer’s estimate for the project is $6,323,130. The bids:
