A class of 30 Final Year Primary School teachers of the Cyril Potter College of Education in New Amsterdam, on Sunday visited the Good Samaritan Home in Stanleytown and pampered the female senior citizens.
While there, they also cleaned the rooms and living quarters at the home and purchased fresh sheets for the ladies who reside there.
The senior citizens were given new hair-dos and a few grocery items.
This was part of the final- year project for the students, who will be graduating later this year as Trained Teachers.
The teachers also donated several cosmetics and other items to the Alpha Children’s Home at Gay Park, East Bank Berbice and made their final stop at the Children’s home in Angoy’s Avenue.
