Homeowner chops thief during confrontation
A Berbice man is currently nursing a chop wound to his body, after he was confronted by his victim, a man called Rupee, of 40 Feet, Johanna Cecilia.
Reports are that around 11:00hrs on Monday, at Golden Fleece, the wounded man who is now a patient at the Suddie Public Hospital, went into Rupee’s house at Johanna Cecilia to rob the man.
According to reports, Rupee retaliated by chopping the thief about his body. The thief is now under police guard at the hospital.
