Dear Editor,
All the best for the New Year. Berbicians are looking forward for great things in 2012. We are situated behind God’s back; we are a very proud people, but it appears as though we are of use only at elections time.
What does the Government plan to do for us this year? As we have long been neglected by the people put there to help all races, Mr. Mustapha and Fazal Jaffarally did nothing for some people, only for friends that they notice. Now people are shocked to see Mr. Jaffarally as a Member of Parliament. What a shame!
All he did was look after P.P.P supporters, so people have no confidence in him as he will perform to his own interest as he takes up his seat in Parliament and waste tax payers’ money.
Please ask the President to find somebody better as Jaffarally is very vindictive especially towards people in Berbice who are not P.P.P supporters.
Somebody better should be put in place to look after Berbicians’ rights.
