Dear Editor,
Though the Electoral Assistance Bureau- EAB- has already thanked its observers/volunteers for coming on board and for being part of the team; displaying commitment and patriotism during our just concluded 28th November electoral exercise; I nonetheless would like to personally add my special bit of thank you to all Region Ten observers, supervisors and Assistant Coordinators who made a great effort and exercised much patience during the process ultimately to the end of poll count in their polling stations late into the night/midnight and beyond.
Amidst a few early morning glitches and a modicum of uneasiness along the way, I need to commend you for your dedication and steadfastness shown on this, a most important day in our lives as a people.
Further, I need to extend my heartfelt gladness to each and every one of you who have expressed satisfaction and delight at having had the opportunity to work as an observer-”it was a nice experience”-though as you have noted there is always room for improvement.
Your services have been a most invaluable one for which the E.A.B will forever be grateful. Profound respect. Frank Fyffe EAB Coordinator Region Ten
