Dear Sir,
As an overseas Guyanese I have been following the news back home and cannot help but be surprised and amazed by what I see. Here are my concerns:
1. President Ramotar appears to be setting up a Government that will operate like they used to in the past, with no concerns about the opposition. Unfortunately, for him, that time has passed but he seems not able to comprehend this.
2. The set of Ministers appears to be totally made up of the people Jagdeo kept close. So one cannot help thinking that Jagdeo will be running things from behind.
3. There appears to have been no attempt to team up with anyone to get a majority Government. I hope the opposition remains united and not scattered.
4. Where are the smart people in this set of Ministers? Where is the Ramsahoye; JOF Haynes; Shahabuddeen; Greenidge; Ramphal that surrounded Burnham and Jagan? Who among them can lead an international organisation or be part of one?
5. Who are the big thinkers, the men of ideas other than stealing?
By the way, where is Jagdeo staying now? J.S.S.
