A combination of speeding and bad judgement almost led to an increase in the country’s road fatality figure, when this GEB semi-armoured minivan toppled on the East Coast Demerara Public Road in the vicinity of Success last Thursday.
The minivan was heading east when it collided with another vehicle which was turning into a fuel station.
The GEB vehicle turned turtle several times before ending in a ditch on the northern side of the road.
Thankfully, none of the four occupants was injured, and all the weapons were accounted for.
