Barama employee dies
Elvin David, of Belladrum, West Coast Berbice, died around 2:00 hours, yesterday, at Buck Hall landing.
According to reports, Davis and another man were consuming alcohol when he reached out to hold onto the other man’s T-shirt before he fell to the ground in the company’s compound, where he died.
A police press statement indicated that David, 42, was involved in an argument with the man with whom he was imbibing and sustained an injury to his head and subsequently died.
The suspect has been arrested and is in police custody assisting with the investigations.
