…punished by mom for ‘doing wotlessness’

Two Sophia lads, ages six and five are now in the custody of the Childcare and Protection Agency after the mother of the older boy used a hot iron and burnt him severely on his buttock and on his penis.
The younger boy was also burned by the woman (name provided) said to be in her early 20s and who has also reportedly admitted to police ranks at the Turkeyen Police Station that she did indeed do it.
The crime committed by the boys causing the treatment to be meted out was “wotlessness.”
This publication understands that the woman reportedly caught the two lads experimenting in what some deem as an unnatural act. She did not condone the experimentation.

The woman upon catching the young boys apparently plugged in an electric iron and when it was hot enough repeatedly burnt the young boys on their rear and the older boy on his penis.
Both of the lads are expected to undergo further medical examination to determine if any of them had been sexually molested in the past.
The boys are reportedly alleging that the ‘wotlessness’ was learnt from an older cousin but this is yet to be ascertained.
The police are also in search of the father of the older boy who does not live with the family.
Questions are also circulating about an adult male who frequents the home.
One of the lads reportedly made a complaint to a relative and the Childcare and Protection Agency got involved subsequently.
According to some seasoned officials in dealing with children issues the matter is wholly reprehensible.

I wonder which police force in the world taught this mother the example of burning the genitals of children. This is as a direct result of the breakdown of law and order, even by those who should be sworn to protect Guyanese.

I hope she gets some treatment and be rewired to know that that is really not an accepted norm. It never helps when the laws of a land can not demonstrate right from wrong because there is an existing govt of the day that is an example of lawlessness itself.

SO SAD TO SEE THE MOM CAUGHT THESE KIDS IN THE ACT… THEY HAD TO BE MOLESTED BECAUSE THEY WOULDNT BE DOING THAT…. SO SAD THEY NEED TO FIND THEY OLDER COUSIN WHO THEY BOY USE TO SEE DOING IT…HOPE THEY DO FIND HIM AND INVESTIGATE THIS STORY….

Blame this on the govt, who started the culture of burning little boys penis and covering the act up with hush money,i recalled my memory of the burning penis incident by members of the police force,the burning penis culture has began.

This is a classic example of a dilemma ,It is without a trace of doubt that this parent is guilty of an offence and that she in due manner and after a thorough investigation should face a condigned prosecution.The question that is poignant and salient here is whom amongst us would not be tempted to (react)in a similar manner?
I say that to say this (all of us parents would have inevitably dreamed of a series of activities for our child(male or female) at birth.None of us would ever embrace the notion of them ever “experimenting” as it is so subtly expressed).
Oh and by the way dont answer according to how you think you should sound on the internet.Be pragmatic.

  De woman was upset and decided on tough love punishment.
  For all you know she was probably trying to scare them but they probably
  jumped around and caused more harm than was intended.
  
  No no no… jail is not the solution.
  
  This is where help at the social level is needed, with lots of counselling.
  Jail is a waste of time.
  
  The children, as much as they misbehaved, will still wnat to be with their mother,
  so counselling and close monitoring by the social services people is
  what should be done.
  
  Forget jail.
  It does not help in this situation.

She should go and find the persons responsible for teaching the children this behaviour. Put those boys in an orphanage or something and get them counselling.

were they having anal sex??,,,if so….I might be able to understnd the rage she flew into…………..but you see why it ia important for us mothers to teach our children from an early age what sex is in simple terms, and what is acceptable and what isnt….hope they not scared for life…………what were they or who were they experimenting with ..I am however very happy to hear that the police and welfare people involved in the matter.ignorance is very sad………wonder if somebody burn her she will like it?????????????

This woman is sick. How can you do that to your own kids and look at there age. I am sorry for them but she needs to step back and see what is the cause for them to do that and not just penalize them for the act. They are children ; you are suppose to protect them and guide them. At least talk to them about it.

The council are always unaware of these things, but they are guilty as hell.Their vehicles are seen dumping garbage behind Old smokey.The M&CC department in princess Street is a dumping ground .It is filled with derelict vehicles ,garbage,piles of mud and recently slush (heavy vehicles traverse the street everyday leaving slush on the street in addition to the damage being done to the road -pot holes abound).I would really like to know whose slush is being accommodated there.
A look at that compound tells a sad tale -unkempt,broken fence with overgrown weeds.Seems as if they do not have a plan ;they had started to dismantle the chimney and has abandoned the task.
The M&CC cannot or does not have the heart to keep their own compound clean it follows that they will not and has not and will never be able to keep the city clean.IIt all starts at home. Shame,M&CC! needed-.new Gov,new councillors.decent, upright people for Guyana.

The mother was angry but this does not justify what she did. The kids are 5 and 6 come on different measures should have taken.

that is cruelty to the highest. The mother should have found out from the boys where they learned that type of behaviour from. hope the law does its job.
