Mabaruma Post Office gets a facelift
The Post Office at Mabaruma is now an enhanced building after 
extensive renovations were done there.
The repair work that was done at this office by an external contractor included dismantling the top flat and making the entire building one ground flat. It also involved plumbing and electrical work, living accommodations on the ground flat and painting the interior and exterior of the building among other things.
The Guyana Post Office Corporation expressed its gratitude to the persons using the services at this office for their kind understanding and cooperation during the repair period.
Plans are afoot for extensive repairs to be done to other offices including the one at Suddie on the Essequibo Coast.
