DEAR EDITOR,
The Freddie Kissoon Column of Wednesday, October 26, titled “Sempiternal light versus eternal evil: Memories of Diwali”, is yet another nasty attack on Hindus by that columnist.
The central, but subtle, theme is that Hindus are supporting evil and are hypocritical by celebrating Diwali. In my view, this is intended to incite hatred and violence against Hindus and should not be condoned or tolerated.
Hopefully, those responsible for monitoring the media will not let this one slip by unnoticed.
Further, the Hindu community should demand an apology from the author of this column. Pasha
