A man was caught on camera early yesterday morning removing two flat screen television
The man who was caught on the surveillance camera at Pizza Hut
sets from Pizza Hut.
According to reports, the burglar broke into the premises through a window at around 01:19 hours, but the discovery was made approximately five hours later. Operations Manager of KFC/Pizza Hut, Mahindra Persaud, said at around 06:00 hours yesterday the security guard on duty noticed that a window on the building had been broken. A further search around the building led the guard to a flat screen television lying among a clump of plants.
The security immediately informed his superiors as well as the police. When the police arrived they discovered that the two television sets were removed from the building but only one was taken away. The entire place was also ransacked. However no cash was taken and the man was caught on camera as the video was handed over to the police to assist with investigation.

Sorry KFC the police may say the quality of the video is poor or better yet the tape might disappear altogether.

A simple solution to make sure the guards do not sleep on duty is to have land line phone at strategic points and every phone must have a different phone # and every half hour let the guard make a call to a given #,and that # must have CALLER ID, then next day some one will review the CALLER ID to know the exact time and location where the guard was during the night.
Here in NY, we does use some thing else, but that will be too expensive for GY.
The phone system will not cost a lot, they only have to pay $500 per month, per phone and nothing for the calls because no one will answer the calls, but the calls will be recorded in the CALLER ID.
