Fredricks in for Chattergoon
Essequibo opening batsman Norman Fredricks has replaced Sewnarine Chattergoon in the Guyana 14-member squad for the Regional Super 50 competition.
This replacement was due to Chattergoon suffering an injury to his right leg during the Guyana team’s first practice match. According to a release from the GCB, the injury has not healed sufficiently and therefore he has been advised by the medical personnel to rest for 3-4 weeks.
