Nadir said that the National Training Programme for Youth Empowerment started on June, 2005.
Nadir informed the graduates that with the commencement of the first batch over one thousand youths signed up for the Youth Empowerment programme. Nadir noted that $1.6B was put aside for school dropouts, while $50M was set aside for single-parents in 2009.
