A father of six will spend some time in the lock ups while he awaits his next court appearance for unlawfully wounding his reputed wife.
Ronald Wheller, 42, who resides at 67, James Street, Albouystown, appeared before Magistrate Sueanna Lovell for allegedly abusing his reputed wife while under the influence of alcohol.
The court heard that Wheller came home to his wife, Nadia Yamin, with whom he had been living for ten months. He was said to be intoxicated. An argument broke out and the woman became afraid and left the house.
When she returned home, according to the prosecution, the defendant picked up a hammer and dealt his partner several blows about her body.
The matter was reported and an investigation was conducted. The defendant was later arrested and charged. The man will return to court on October 17.
I am very sure this is not the first time this man ‘beat up’ his reputed wife.I guess some women seems to not learn until its more fatal.
Blame the abuse on the rice flour.
