Businesswoman crashes
This car, PMM 560, driven by popular New Amsterdam businesswoman, Mrs. Sheila Hanoman, 
of Palmyra Corentyne was heading out of New Amsterdam around 18:00 hrs Monday evening when, upon making a U- Turn, she lost control and swerved into the trench.
Hanoman, who escaped with minor injuries, was whisked away to a relative’s home before being taken to seek medical attention.
That particular U-turn has been the location of numerous accidents in the past, so much that the Rotaract Club has erected wooden posts a little further from where the car ended.
