Berbice Volleyball Association to stage knockout competition
The Berbice Volleyball Association will be holding a knock-out Volleyball Competition for Clubs/Schools in Berbice on Sunday September 25 at the GTM Hard-court in New Amsterdam. The competition will coincide with the commencement of New Amsterdam Town Day Activities and will start at 09:30hrs.
The clubs expected to participate are – Rollers of New Amsterdam, Eaglets of Canje, Port Mourant Jaguars, Falcons of Canje, Albion Volleyball Club and Guysuco GTC/PM.
Schools invited to participate are Berbice High School, New Amsterdam Multilateral, Canje Secondary School, Lower Corentyne Secondary School, J.C Chandisingh Secondary School and Corentyne Comprehensive High School.
At stake are trophies for the 1st and 2nd placed teams and Prizes for outstanding individual performances.
Teams are urged to be punctual for the open ceremony.
