Linden based Mark Lewis capitalized on the absence of the leading stars to claim victory in the feature 35-lap schools boys and invitational race when the 11th annual DeSinco Trading sponsored 11-race cycle programme came off at the National Park yesterday.
Lewis’ winning time was One Hour 17 Minutes 31.54 Seconds and he crossed the line ahead of Orvil Hinds, Raymond ‘Steely’ Newton, Rastaff O’Selmo, Michael Anthony and Junior Niles.

Young Anthony continues to improve and proved that he will be one of the future stars; placing among the big guns after winning the juveniles 10-lap contest earlier ahead of Akeem Arthur and Paul De Nobrega.
