Chain snatcher caught
Some residents of Albouystown were quick to act when a man snatched a gold
chain from one of their own and tried to get away.
During his escape bid he jumped into a nearby trench but there were people in the crowd who were more than willing to follow him. They caught him before the police arrived and he was indeed relieved when the lawmen eventually made an appearance, such was the beating he received.
He is now a guest of the state pending charges.
