DeSinco sponsored cycle race meet for National Park Saturday

National Cycling Coach Hassan Mohamed MS has organized a (11) Race Cycle Programme for Saturday, September 17 at the National Park Circuit.
The programme commences at 09:00hrs and is being sponsored by DeSinco Trading. Managing Director Mr. Frank DeAbreau is expected to distribute the prizes along with members of staff.
This year is the 11th year DeSinco Trading is sponsoring this youth programme and throughout the years the programme came off successful.
Several races have been carded for the programme which includes:
12 to 14 yrs Boys & Girls – 3 Laps
Veteran U – 50 yrs – 5 Laps
Veteran O – 50 yrs – 5 Laps
Veteran O – 60 yrs – 5 Laps
Juveniles – 10 Laps
BMX Boys Open – 3 Laps
BMX Boys 12 to 14 yrs – 3 Laps
BMX Boys 9 to 12 yrs – 3 Laps
BMX Boys 6 to 9 yrs – 2 Laps
Upright Cyclists – 5 Laps
The main attraction is the School Boys & Invitation – 35 Laps contest.
Last year, winners were Robin Persaud in the 35 Laps with a time of 1Hr/16Mins/57Secs, Juveniles – 10 Laps – Kurt La Rose – 13Mins/29Secs and the Veteran U–50yrs – 5 Laps – Kennard Lovell – 12Mins/49 Secs.
