Guyanese secure several medals as event concludes
The Caribbean Badminton International Junior Championships (CAREBACO) concluded in Barbados at the Wildey Gymnasium yesterday.
Play on Friday saw the Under-15 Boys Singles Semi-Finals and the Under-13 Mixed Doubles Round Robin Events.

Under-15 Boys Singles Semi-Finals:
Narayan Ramdhani of Guyana lost to Top Seed Soren Opti of Suriname in a trilling three setter with Soren Opti winning the first game: 21-8. Narayan Ramdhani then took the second game 22-20 with powerful smashes and then lost the third game to Opti: 21-19. Both players showed great skills on the court with the Guyanese Player got the backing of the crowd.
Under-13 Mixed Doubles Round Robin:
Priyanna Ramdhani of Guyana and Jordan Ollivierre of Barbados defeated Dominic Howard and Danielle Riley of Barbados: 21-6, 21-10 Priyanna Ramdhani of Guyana and Jordan Ollivierre of Barbados lost to Shae Martin and Amanda Haywood of Barbados: 21-19, 23-21, 21-17 The Presentation was scheduled for yesterday and Guyana claimed several Medals.
