These police ranks from the Central Police Station in New Amsterdam were summoned to the Vryman’s Secondary School around 10:20 hrs yesterday to deal with strangers who were causing an uproar on the final day of the school year.
According to reports, strangers usually enter the schoolyard by jumping the back fence, adjacent to the school Science laboratories.
Once inside they smoke illegal drugs and molest young students. In 2009, a male stranger verbally abused and attempted to hit a teacher of the school with a piece of wood he had picked up in the compound.
The intruders after creating mischief would make their escape when they sense a teacher or the police approaching the area.
However, their luck ran out yesterday after the police caught three of them.
