Dear Editor,
According to Demerara Waves, Rupert Roopnarine is tipped to be the Prime Ministerial candidate for the Joint Opposition People’s Partnership. This is a backward step. Recently I read a letter in the newspaper enquiring about the WPA membership.
Though this information is important, more important is Rupert’s silence and inactivity amidst all the political chaos and bad governance over the last 10 years. There is a saying that silence is consent.
By the way Brigadier David Granger seems to have forgotten his campaign promise to women that he will make one of them his Prime Ministerial candidate.
