Guyana oppose Bermuda Wednesday @ Providence
Guyana will host the North America & Caribbean Rugby Association (NACRA) Caribbean Rugby Fifteens Championships at the National Stadium on Wednesday, June 22nd with scrum down time set for 18:00hrs. Guyana defeated Barbados, 20 – 7, at the National Stadium last Saturday to win the Southern Caribbean Rugby Fifteens Championships, having defeated former champions Trinidad & Tobago, 22-20, on their home ground on May 28th.
Bermuda, winner of the Northern Caribbean Championship, defeated Mexico, 27-7. Altogether, 12 Caribbean Unions have contested the Championships leading to the Finals on Wednesday between Guyana and Bermuda.
GRFU President, Kit Nascimento, has called on all sport fans in Guyana to wear green, GRFU colour, in support the National Ruggers.
