The top three performers of the Coaching Seminar, which the Guyana Table Tennis Association (GTTA) sponsored, were on Sunday awarded cash incentives in recognition of their outstanding performance at the seminar.
President of the GTTA, Commissioner of Police, Henry Greene made the presentation at the Cliff Anderson Sports Hall.
The presentations were made during the Paralympics Table Tennis leg of the Coaching Seminar, which saw the 13 participants completing the pre-requisites to successfully complete the criteria for certification.
The most outstanding coach was Theodore Demonick, who was awarded a cash incentive of $20,000 while Colin France and Hewley Griffith tied for the runner-up position and received an amount of $10,000 each.
Overseas-based Haynes Foundation and Secure Innovations and Concepts Inc. sponsored the cash prizes.
