An unwanted publication
Yesterday, we inadvertently published a letter under the hand of Mayor Hamilton Green that was published three years ago.
The publication dealt with an issue that led to the failed prosecution of former army lieutenant Oliver Hinckson.
By publishing that letter again, we created the impression that the police were once more hounding people. We regret suggestion and hereby apologise for any problem the publication might have caused.
