GCB congratulates Sarwan on his National Award
The President and Members of the Guyana Cricket Board has sent a congratulatory Message to National cricket captain Ramnaresh Sarwan who has been awarded the Medal of Service award in the latest list of National Awardees.
The text of the GCB message read, “Warmest congratulations on the award of the Medal of Service, announced as part of the observance of the country’s recent Independence Anniversary.
It is fitting reward for your outstanding service over the years to Guyana’s and West Indies cricket.
It has been well earned and is well deserved.
We, at the GCB, and indeed the Guyanese cricketing public are confident that there are still thousands of runs in your bat, and that you will use your considerable talent and the vast experience you have acquired in further service to the people of Guyana and the region.
Higher honours await you. May this national recognition motivate and inspire you to even greater heights.”
