Frequent blackouts during exam periods is heartless
Dear Editor,
It was with much disappointment I read in the newspapers about GPL’s “Scheduled Maintenance” for May/June. Don’t the relevant authorities know that thousands of young students are currently writing CSEC in this SAME period?
It’s bad enough that these young people have to contend with blackouts throughout the year, but to have it so much in this period is indeed heartless. We have had three consecutive nights of blackouts lasting approximately four hours each night. This is unacceptable.
