Policing Group elects new executive
The South Ruimveldt Gardens Phase one Community Policing Group Development Society yesterday held its annual general meeting and elected a new executive.
The meeting was held at Lot 103 David Rose and Cane View Avenue South Ruimveldt Gardens.
Godfrey Washington was elected chairman; J. Gonsalves, Vice Chairman; Y. Quintin, Secretary; B. Stuart, Treasurer; S. Kendall, Assistant Secretary/Treasurer and Public Relations L. Da.Costa.
The committee members are B. Haynes, Mrs. J Lewis. Mr. C Gordon, P. Siebs and Mr. N. Applewaithe.
The committee plans to meet shortly to plan programmes for safety, security and community empowerment.
