Swimming pool taking shape

Despite the snub to Kaieteur Sport reporter Edison Jefford due to new rules pertaining to reporters entering the Olympic size swimming pool at Lilliendaal on the East Coast this week, Kaieteur Sport was able to obtain a photograph of the facility which was taken some two weeks ago. As can be observed the facility paints a beautiful picture despite additional work still to be done and several questions still to be answered as to the monies spent and when it will be opened. We will seek the necessary information and permission from the relevant authorities to keep our readers abreast on the progress of this facility.
