Dear Editor,
On behalf of the New Jersey Arya Samaj Mandir, Inc., Humanitarian Mission and its Guyana Chapter, I would like to join with the Government and people of Guyana to express how deeply sorry I am to learn of the passing of a great icon figure to our nation in the field of journalism.
His demise was received with great lost and sadness. We have lost a hardworking, dynamic and visionary journalist. He will be missed terribly for his dedication and professionalism.
Throughout the years, I have valued his genuine friendship, kindness and thoughtfulness and I do know he was greatly loved and admired by all who knew him for his commitment and dynamism.
I am very fortunate to have gotten to know him personally through the work of the New Jersey Arya Samaj Humanitarian Mission in Guyana. He has been an inspiration to our organisation. I know what a difficult loss this will be to his family and the people of Guyana.
Mr. Khan was one of those extraordinary people who will never be forgotten in a lifetime. His life was like a sunbeam that lit up the world around him, his family and friends. Now that he is not physically here with us, we can bask in the rainbow of his loving memories that will live forever in our hearts forever.
No, it won’t be the same without him by any means, but we will go on as best as we can and look forward to the day we will meet him again in eternity.
We shower his family with our prayers and trust each of them will draw strength from God, his many spiritual friends and family who want to help you through this very difficult time.
My thoughts and prayers are with the family especially his mother during this difficult time.
With love and sympathy. Pt. Suresh Sugrim
President, NJASM Humanitarian Mission
