Women brawl ends in stabbing
Thirty-year-old Samantha Roberts, of Mora Camp, Bartica, is now assisting the Bartica Police with their investigations into a stabbing incident that occurred around 1:00 am yesterday at Mora Point.

Colleen Gonsalves sustained two knife-inflicted stab wounds to her head during an altercation with Roberts.
Sources indicated that on Sunday there was a family “get together” hosted by the Gonsalves family. Samantha Roberts was an invited guest.
Eyewitnesses say that the two women had a confrontation after bumping into each other while dancing, both women then left for their respective homes, only for Samantha to return a little later to Colleen Gonsalves’s home.
She reportedly entered through an open window armed with a knife and wounded Gonsalves.
The injured woman was referred to the Georgetown Public Hospital for further medical attention.
Recently Samantha Roberts was before a Bartica Magistrate to answer to an assault charge stemming for an incident that occurred at the Aranka mining area .
