DCB Inter association Under-15 competition starts shortly
All Area Associations have been asked to start preparing their Under-15 teams for the annual DCB Inter Association competition which is scheduled to begin before the end of this month.
The Competitions Committee of the DCB will meet shortly to set the fixtures for this competition and Competitions Committee Chairpersons or their representatives on the DCB from all areas including East Bank Demerara, East Coast Demerara, Georgetown & West Demerara are asked to contact DCB’s Chairman of the Competitions Committee, Colin Europe at 611-6675 or 220-2338 or at the Guyana Cricket Board’s Office before the end of this week.
This competition is fully sponsored and will be run on a round robin basis.
The competition will be used to select the Demerara team to participate in the annual Castrol Inter County tournament being run off by the GCB in the month of March, 2011.
Area Associations are also put on notice that the Inter Association Under-19 competition will be run off immediately after the U-15’s around the middle of March and they are advised to get their teams in shape for this competition which would precede the GTM Under-19 competition of the GCB.
