ECB name committees
The Essequibo Cricket Board executives have named their respective committees at a meeting held recently at the Essequibo Island Secondary School in Wakenaam.
The Competitions Committee, which is made up of one representative from each area committee, will have Verna D’Aguiar as its Chairperson and Verendra Chintamanie as the Secretary.
Anthony Murray is the Chairman of the Marketing and Fundraising Committee while the Secretary is Budesh Chatterpaul. Other members of the committee are Rohan Budhan, Ravi Mohan, Troy Harper, Mustak Mohamed, Ganga Persaud and Nazeer Mohamed.
The Selection Committee is comprised of Faizul Bacchus (Chairman), Mustapha Zaman, Totaram Ramnarine, Punraj Singh, Rhonda Pearson and Darshanan Lall. Budesh Chatterpaul is the Chairman of the Finance Committee which also includes Sheik Ahmad, Otto Christiani, Marvin Pearson, Faizul Bacchus and Anthony Murray.
The Cricket Development Committee is made up of Elroy Stephney (Chairman), Festus Benn, Mustak Mohamed (Rep. to G.C.B), Alvin Johnson, Derick Paul, Otto Christiani (Sect.) and Rhonda Pearson.
Sheik Ahmad heads the Disciplinary Committee, which also includes Verna D’Aguiar and Faizul Bacchus.
