Dear editor,
With Linden first sixes cricket festival organised by Sherwin “umpireawo” Graham just a few days away I must say thanks to Linmine Secretariat and Linden Utility Services Cooperative Society Limited (L.U.S.C.S.L) for coming on board and sponsoring this festival.
The festival will run from the 29th January to 6th February 2011 at four venues across Region 10. The Region’s top teams will be taking part in this festival.
Sponsorship is still being sought for this festival so I am asking kind hearted businesses in Guyana to come on board and help sponsor this festival at the same time helping me to return cricket to Region 10.
I often sit wonder why it’s so hard to secure sponsorship from Corporate Guyana for cricket in Region 10.
