Guyana lost their second game in as many matches while Haiti rebounded from their first game loss to Barbados (1-2) to whip the Guyanese when the CONCACAF Under-17 Championship Group Stage 11 continued yesterday in the Dominican Republic.
Following a flawless first half, the young Jaguars fell away as the lads from Haiti flew to a 7-0 triumph to give themselves a chance of qualifying for the final round set for Jamaica next February.
While Guyana went down by the lone goal of their encounter against the host nation on Wednesday, Haiti lost to Barbados in a gripping game also.
After a goalless first half the young Guyanese were again let down by poor goalkeeping and equally ineffective finishing.
Within the first 5 minutes of the second half, 3 goals were scored which placed the game way beyond the reach of the Guyanese.
Guyana will their final game against Haiti tomorrow.
