The Public Relations Office of the Georgetown Public Hospital Corporation has indicated that from today it will take over the operation of the Kitty Health Centre situated on Sandy Babb Street, Kitty, Georgetown.
The facility was at one time housed in the now dilapidated Kitty market.
The hospital, in a statement last evening, assured that the same efficient and quality service which is characteristic of the health centre will continue to be offered to all who utilize the numerous services that are provided.
Among the services offered at the health centre are General Outpatient Clinics – Dressings, inter alia; Maternal and Child Health Clinics – Pre and Post Natal Clinics, Family Planning, Infant and Pre-school Clinics; and Chronic Diseases Clinic – Diabetes and Hypertension.
Doctors will be available from Monday through Friday. The centre will be closed on the weekends and Public Holidays.
