Cycling results amended
The Guyana Cycling Federation has amended the results to the final stage and overall Veterans placings for the just concluded “Ride for Life” 5 stage road race.
Due to a slight hiccup there was a slight mix up in the placings on the finals stage from Linden to Homestretch Avenue in Georgetown.
The official results are:
Stage 5 Results (first 6 places) bunch time – 2hrs 40mins 48secs
1. Frank Travieso -Team Coco’s
2. Godfrey Pollydore – USA
3. Yosvany Falcon – Team Coco’s
4. Alanzo Greaves – Roraima Bikers
5. Geron Williams – Continental
6. Warren McKay – Roraima Bikers
Overall Veterans Results
1. Antonio Quintero – 10hrs 18mins 29secs
2. Raymond Newton – 10hrs 21mins 17secs
3. Aubrey Gordon – 10hrs 21mins 20secs
