U-19 ruggers for T&T tour
The National Under-19 rugby team which has been in training for the past two months under newly appointed Coach Alwin Etwah and Asst. Coach Elwin Chase is scheduled to fly out tomorrow to engage a Trinidad and Tobago Rugby Football Union (TTRFU) U-19 squad in two ‘challenge matches’.
The team which comprises 20 players will be under the management of Peter Campayne and Asst. Manager, Joseph Rahaman.
The team will play its first game on Friday evening at 18:00 hrs against a select TTRFU U-19 team at the Queen’s Park Savannah or at the Larry Gomes Stadium, while the second game will be against a TTRFU Development Squad and that takes place on Sunday at 20:00 hrs, at the Larry Gomes Stadium.
The following players have been selected:
Forwards: Vallon Adams (Captain), O’Neal Charles – Wing Forward /Flanker, Dwayne Massay – Wing Forward /Flanker, Allain Crawford – Hooker, Rondel Mc Arthur – Prop, Gordon Andrews – Prop, Chandra Shakar Jainarine – Prop, Jason Ridley – Hooker, Mark Bollers – Second Row/ Wing Forward, Mark Burnett – Second Row, Michelle Canzius – Second Row.
Backs: Rickford Cummings (Vice Captain) – Fullback, Dwayne Jackson – Scrum Half
Clinton Mars – Scrum – Half, Mario Whyte – Fly- Half, Kareem Azeez – Fly-half/Centre, Mark Massiah – Centre, Toby David – Centre, Dennis Alexander – Winger, Jumoke David – Winger.

Liverpool hammer Eversham in latest Berbice Inter-Block Football results
Last Sunday Liverpool enjoyed some target practice when play in the Berbice Inter-Block Football tournament continued to move to the top of the points table. Liverpool fired 10 goals to Eversham’s 1.
Kenroy Grenville (6), Carlos Mingo (2), Esmond Smartt (1) and Daren Walrond (1) were on target for the winners.
In the second game, Fyrish Village needled Kildonan 1-0 with Sherwin Crandon netting the winner.
